Executive – French Market

We are looking for a team member to join our French market at Aitken Spence Travels. You will be responsible to communicate with our agents, prepare itineraries, manage bookings and be involved in operations. An organized, alert. Practical & smart individual who possess a Degree/Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management or any other related field from a reputed institute. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity is essential to perform this role but a few years less than this too can be considered. Excellent communication in both French & English  and interpersonal skills, ability to work well within a team and ability to work long, irregular hours under pressure are key competencies sought. Fluency in French is a must (Should be able to read, speak and write in French fluently).

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Corresponding with holiday companies in French & English
  • Negotiating allotments and rates as and when required
  • Maintaining a good rapport with all suppliers
  • Acquiring new business to the Maldives and Myanmar operations

Executive – Airport Services Officers (4)

The ideal candidates should possess the GCE (A/L) qualification and a degree in Marketing. A full/part qualification in CIM will be a definite advantage. A minimum of 2 years’ job-related experience in an airline or under the GHA is essential for this role. Sounds knowledge of the airport setup, good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work within a team, customer-oriented personality and fluency in English are key competencies sought.

Main duties and responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Delivering the highest customer service at all levels of operations
  • Liaising with check-in, boarding gate, ramp and cargo lounge
  • Supervising ground handling agents and ensuring smooth acceptance of passengers
  • Directing, arriving/departing passengers to respective areas such as arrival hall, transfer area and departure gates

Executive – Airport Services Supervisor (2)

The ideal candidates should possess the GCE (A/L) qualification and a diploma/degree in Marketing. A full/part qualification in CIM will be a definite advantage. A minimum of 5 years’ job-related experience in a Supervisory role for an airline or within an airport environment is essential for this role. Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work within a team, customer-oriented personality, fluency in English and willingness to work shifts including weekends and nightshifts are key competencies sought.

Main duties and responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Acting as a liaison between airport authorities, ground handlers and other stakeholders while monitoring day-to-day operations
  • Providing input and recommendations to the Management to improve the effectiveness of daily operations
  • Ensuring passenger and aircraft handling practices are in line with safety and security standards
